Orange and White Mash

Orange and White Mash
1/2 c. serve (.5 pts)

2 carrots, peel and cut up into chunks
3 parsnips, peeled and cut up into chunks
1/2 of a small pumpkin, de-skinned and cut up into big chunks (it cooks quicker then carrots and parsnips)
Salt & pepper
*Milk and butter if you want

1. Place cut up vegetables into a pot of water
2. Boil until carrots are easily stabbed with a fork
3. Mash with a potatoe masher
4. Add salt and pepper to taste (you can add milk and/or butter, but I didn’t)
