Note to self

You overate, but going back to old habits of feeling guilty, writing ridiculous fitness regimes, obsessing about your WI on Monday because you feel like you have to prove the blog world that you’re actually Transforming your weight down…is silly.

You do feel bloated. You do feel like a failure tonight. Eating food that isn’t promoting your health is not helping you get better.

Just cause it’s there…doesn’t mean you have to eat it.

Just cause you ate it..doesn’t mean you are a worthless human being.

    That’s a good note to self. Hang in there – Rome wasn’t built in a day and old habits don’t vanish overnight, as much as we wish they would.

    It’s a slow process but even just taking notice of your habits is a great step. No one is perfect — and no one even comes CLOSE to perfect most of the time.

    Remember, every meal is a do-over. Make your next meal a good healthy one, and STOP feeling guilty for eating things in your past. It is wasted energy just thinking about it. You can’t go back in time, and change it. You can only focus on the future! Good luck, hun!

    Hey girl – this post really hit me hard. It’s short, simple, but to the point. You’re right. You’re beautiful how you are and it HAPPENS. You are in NO WAY worthless. And it’s that time of the year, you know? That’s what I’ve been saying to myself for weeks. So I overate. So I”m a bit bloated. It happens. Just move on. But then you said it – just because it’s there, doesn’t mean I need to eat it. I need to stop saying it was a one time deal, if it turns into a 20 time deal.

    You know how to move on, and you know you need to do it. And you know not to let this one night ruin your efforts! πŸ™‚

    Note to Michelle: One day of bad eating does not a bad habit make. Its the downward trend that matters. You see the number as feed back and move on. You are not a bad person and can do this. πŸ™‚
