Chili Chocolate Chip Cookies
5 dozen
subtle kick of chili with a rich chocolate base


.5 c. butter
1 egg
.5 c. coconut milk
1.5 c. brown sugar
.25 c. white sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
.75 tsp. ground chili powder
3 c. self-rising/all-purpose flour
1 c. chocolate chips

1. Mix together butter, egg, coconut milk and sugars
2. Add in salt, baking soda and chili–make sure to really mix this well as to get the chili dispersed throughout
3. Add in flour and mix well
4. Add in chocolate chips
5. Place small tablespoon sized dough on a greased cookie sheet
6. Bake in 350/180 degree oven from 9-11 minutes
7. Let rest on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes
8. Then enjoy the subtle but spicy kick of chili w/ the sweet palate of chocolate

    Wow, these look delicious. I love chocolate bars with chili pepper in them, so I’ll definitely be making these at some point.
