‘Nearly Normal’ Day

I only have four days left in Oregon. Four days left with my family. It’s depressing. So, I needed some ice cream for breakfast.

I then made 1/4 c. of cream of buckwheat, 1/2 frozen blueberries, 1 TB of vegan chocolate chips and 1 TB almond butter.

I couldn’t eat it all. Seriously..way too stuffed for this girl. I would have normally ate it all. In fact, does this ever happen to you, I go ‘I am full’. Then what my body and engrained thinking/behavioural patterns do is go ‘just eat it as quickly as you can to finish it and then you wont be wasting any’. NOPE! Not this time. I set it aside and told myself ‘you can save it for later’. This has helped a lot in getting over wasting food/eating everything on your plate mentality.

I have a lunch met-up with a body builder today….Robert Cheeke from VeganBodyBuilding 🙂 He’s a high school friend (see the theme here in Corvallis) and we’re going to another high school friend’s family restaurant Nearly Normals. It’s all veg/vegan restaurant. WOO HOO!

Alright I need to go feed these guys. They’re begging me to feed them and in the mean time chasing each other around the house.

Before I sign off I have to share this post with you. It’s Rose @ Onalobsterplacemat w/ ‘Who I was Two Years Ago‘. Brought me to tears. This is why I read the insane amount of blogs I do. This is why I blog. This is why little girls will hopefully stop dieting.
